Zachery Ty Bryan Accused of Assault, Threatening to Kill Woman Before Arrest

Former Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested on January 1 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, following serious allegations of domestic violence.

According to the incident report, police responded to a call just before 7 PM. The alleged victim, who shares a child with Bryan, claimed he punched her multiple times on the left side of her face. She also told officers he choked her, cutting off her breathing and making her fear for her life. During the altercation, she alleged that Bryan threatened to kill her.

Authorities noted her injuries were consistent with her account. Bryan was taken into custody and charged with second-degree domestic violence. He was initially held on a $10,000 bond but was released around 8 PM on Friday, January 5, according to online records.

This marks another troubling incident for Bryan, who has a history of legal issues. He was previously arrested for domestic violence in July 2023 and for DUI in February 2024.
