Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Filming Challenges for The Morning Show Season 4

Jennifer Aniston has shared that filming for the upcoming season of The Morning Show was far from easy, but she assures fans that it will be worth the wait.

In an interview with People while promoting her collaboration with Pvolve for its New Year challenge, the 55-year-old actress, who plays journalist Alex Levy on the hit Apple TV+ series, said, “Oh my gosh, it was hard. It was so hard.” Despite the challenges, she remains positive, adding, "But it's a great season... it's jam-packed, that’s for sure."

The Morning Show, which debuted in 2019, explores the lives of news anchors at the fictional UBA network as they balance their careers and personal lives. The show stars Aniston alongside Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, and Jon Hamm, with Season 4 wrapping up filming in December 2024. The news was shared through an Instagram post from Witherspoon’s company, Hello Sunshine, which thanked the cast and crew for their work and teased the excitement to come on Apple TV+.

One of the most talked-about moments from Season 4 involves Aniston’s character, Alex Levy, getting covered in fake oil during a protest scene filmed in New York City. The images quickly went viral, leading to a flood of concerned messages from friends and fans. Aniston recalled on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she received numerous texts asking if she was okay, remarking on the dramatic scene's effect on her loved ones.

Season 4 will also introduce new stars, including Jeremy Irons, who plays Alex’s father, Martin Levy, and Marion Cotillard, who takes on the role of Celine Dumont, a "savvy operator from a storied European family." Aniston expressed her excitement about the new additions, praising Cotillard’s beauty and talent, as well as Irons’ impressive acting skills.
