Jocelyn Wildenstein to Be Cremated, Ashes to Rest in Kenya

Jocelyn Wildenstein, the late New York socialite famously known as "Catwoman" for her distinctive, surgically enhanced appearance, will be cremated and her ashes taken to Kenya, her fiancé Lloyd Klein has confirmed.

Klein shared that a small, private funeral will be held in Paris before the cremation. Her ashes will then be brought to her family’s ranch in Kenya, a location deeply significant to Wildenstein. Both her father's burial site and her mother’s ashes are located there, making it a fitting final resting place.

"She loved Kenya," Klein said, highlighting her connection to the country.

Wildenstein passed away in Paris on Tuesday at the age of 84 due to a pulmonary embolism. Klein described her death as sudden and without suffering. He recalled that the couple had laid down for a nap, and while he awoke at 6 PM, Wildenstein had peacefully passed away.

Reflecting on their relationship, Klein said, "She was my love, my friend, and my soul mate for 21 years."

Jocelyn Wildenstein's death marks the end of a life that was as unconventional as it was iconic, with her legacy set to rest in a place she cherished deeply.
