Former "Power Rangers" Actor Sentenced for Battery in Idaho Incident

Hector David Jr., best known for his role as the "Green Ranger" in the Power Rangers franchise, has been sentenced to 180 days in jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery. The sentencing took place on Wednesday in a Canyon County Court, following an altercation last year in Nampa, Idaho.

According to court documents, the judge suspended 135 days of the jail sentence, requiring Hector to serve only 45 days behind bars. Additionally, he has been placed on two years of supervised probation and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.

The incident occurred in July when Hector engaged in an argument with an elderly man using a walker over a parking space. Authorities reported that Hector escalated the confrontation by shoving the man to the ground. While the victim was not seriously injured, the incident prompted a swift response from local authorities.

After the altercation, Hector fled the scene in his truck. However, law enforcement officials, with assistance from community members, were able to identify him. A judge subsequently issued an arrest warrant, and Hector was charged with battery later that month.
