Blake Lively Accused of Blocking Justin Baldoni from It Ends With Us Premiere

Actor and director Justin Baldoni is facing intense legal battles as he files a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times. The lawsuit, filed on December 31, 2024, follows a highly publicized feud with his co-star Blake Lively, who Baldoni claims tried to block him and his Wayfarer Studio team from attending the premiere of It Ends With Us in August.

In the lawsuit, Baldoni accuses Lively of refusing to allow him to attend the event, despite his role as director, executive producer, and actor in the film. He suggests that Lively’s actions were part of an effort to "undermine" his involvement in the project. According to legal documents, Lively eventually agreed, but only after "significant pressure," and imposed humiliating conditions on Baldoni and his team.

Reports claim that Baldoni and his team, including producer Jamey Heath, were separated from the main cast, barred from the after-party, and forced to host their own gathering at their own expense. Additionally, Baldoni says his red carpet experience was "cut short," and his family and friends were confined to a basement holding area before being escorted to a separate theater.

The Jane the Virgin actor further accused Lively of taking control of the film's marketing efforts, robbing him and his team of the chance to celebrate their hard work. Baldoni believes Lively’s actions are part of a larger plan to undermine his career.

In addition to the accusations against Lively, Baldoni also claims he faced a confrontation with Lively's husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. Baldoni alleges that Reynolds aggressively confronted him over accusations of "fat-shaming" Lively and even pressured his agent to drop him as a client. WME, the agency that represents both Baldoni and the couple, has denied the claims.

This lawsuit marks another chapter in a highly charged legal feud that continues to capture attention. Baldoni’s legal team is seeking substantial damages for the alleged harm to his career and reputation.
