The woman claims that after a night of drinking with Barrett, she woke up to find him touching her inappropriately and alleges he then engaged in non-consensual sexual activity. She stated they had been friends for several months and that the evening began with drinks in Los Angeles before continuing at his residence, where the alleged assault occurred.
Following her report, the woman underwent a sexual assault examination, and the case has been assigned to the LASD Special Victims Bureau.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Efforts to reach Barrett's representatives for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
