Documentary Reveals New Details on Liam Payne's Final Hours, Friend and Waiter Under Investigation

Liam Payne's close friend, now under investigation by Argentine authorities, claims the singer appeared fine when he left him at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel an hour before his death. However, authorities and witnesses say otherwise.

Roger Nores, featured in the new documentary TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame? airing Monday at 8 PM ET on FOX, says he was with Liam throughout the day he fell to his death from the hotel balcony.

Nores says he checked on Liam three times that day, and when he left an hour before the fall, Liam seemed happy and fine, though a bit tipsy.

Authorities say Liam became more unstable throughout the day, drinking heavily, using cocaine, and texting Roger asking, "Can you get 6 grams?"

Bret Watson, a Chicago man at the hotel for his wedding, says his wedding party saw Payne throughout the day and noticed the singer became increasingly intoxicated.

Watson says that just over half an hour before Liam fell, the singer was lying on a sofa when something on his computer angered him. Liam then jumped up in a rage and slammed the laptop to the ground.

As reported, Liam caused such a disturbance that hotel staff had to lift him by the arms and legs and take him back to his room, where they left him alone.

The documentary features an interview with a waiter who is under investigation by authorities for allegedly supplying Liam with cocaine.
