Kanye West and Yeezy Sued for Alleged Abuse, Plaintiffs Seek $1M+ Damages

Kanye West and his company Yeezy LLC are facing a lawsuit from four minors and four adults alleging a hostile work environment. The plaintiffs, aged 14 to 17 and hired to assist with a streaming app for West's album "Vulture 2," claim they endured bullying based on ethnicity and sexual orientation. They also allege exposure to explicit material tied to West's plans for an adult studio, and some were reportedly referred to as "slaves" at work.

The lawsuit seeks over $1 million in damages for emotional distress, unpaid wages, and punitive damages. Court documents reveal the plaintiffs are demanding a default judgment after Yeezy failed to respond. The lawyer representing them argues punitive damages are necessary to deter future misconduct, accusing the defendants of exploiting minors and fostering abusive conditions.

Milo Yiannopoulos, Ye's former chief of staff and a co-defendant, has denied the allegations. He stated publicly that the claims are "offensive and false," defending Bianca Censori, West’s wife, who is also named in the lawsuit. Ye and Yiannopoulos have not officially responded.

In addition to this case, Kanye West is dealing with a separate lawsuit from a former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who alleges sexual harassment. The musician has yet to respond to either set of claims. The judge's decision on the current lawsuit is pending.
