Grimes Refutes Azealia Banks’ Claims, Says She Walked Away From Elon Musk

Grimes has pushed back against Azealia Banks’ recent claims, asserting that she left Elon Musk, not the other way around. The dispute reignited on December 26 when Banks shared a meme referencing their 2018 feud and accused Grimes of portraying herself as a victim while vilifying Banks.

Banks called Grimes, 36, out for allegedly harboring grudges and claimed, "You got dumped, cheated on," while describing her behavior as “peak white female delusion.” She urged Grimes to stop mentioning her and move on.

Grimes responded, clarifying she didn’t intend to paint Banks as a villain and dismissed the notion that Musk, 53, had ended their relationship. “I didn’t 'get dumped.' I bounced,” she wrote, adding she has no regrets and is content with her life and children.

Despite their rivalry, Grimes acknowledged Banks’ talent and wished her success.

Grimes and Musk, who split in 2022 after four years together, share three children and have been engaged in a custody dispute. Musk, meanwhile, is father to six other children with different partners.
