Chanel Maya Banks Files Restraining Order Against Mother and Cousin

Actress Chanel Maya Banks, known for her role in "Gossip Girl," has filed a restraining order against her mother, Lutchmin Judy Kumar, and cousin, Danielle Singh, accusing them of harassment and trying to harm her reputation.

Banks alleges the pair repeatedly contacted her against her wishes, even after she asked for space in October. She claims they reported her missing to the Los Angeles police, leading to a wellness check, despite her husband, Carlos, confirming she was fine.

In the restraining order, Banks accuses them of breaking into her apartment on November 10, attacking her husband, stealing his work badge, and placing an Apple AirTag on her car to track her movements. She has filed police reports over these incidents.

The actress also claims her mother and cousin accused her husband of murder and suggested she be placed on a psychiatric hold. Banks is requesting the court to bar them from contacting her or discussing her publicly.

Family sources have denied the allegations, stating they only acted out of concern for Chanel's safety. They claim no assault occurred and that they are moving on from the situation.

Chanel was found safe in November after traveling to Texas for a religious baptism. She has since maintained her stance against her family’s actions.
