Cardi B Speaks Out About Men and Power in New Livestream

Cardi B didn’t hold back during a recent livestream, calling out men who can’t handle strong, independent women. The rapper shared her thoughts on Wednesday (Dec. 18), saying that while men may like the idea of dating a “boss,” they struggle with insecurity when it comes to being with one.

“[Men] love the idea of dating a boss a– b—h, but they can’t handle it,” Cardi said. “It messes with their insecurities or something.”

Cardi also criticized women who judge others based on their past relationships. “Don’t ever tell me that I’m not a bad b—h because I used to be with a f–k n—a,” she said, hinting at her estranged husband, Offset.

She added, “And a f–k n—a still can’t let a ho go. I know my value, b—h … There’s a reason why they compare men to dogs.”

This fiery livestream came just days after Cardi attended Offset’s birthday party, despite filing for divorce earlier this year. The couple shares three children: 6-year-old Kulture, 3-year-old Wave, and a newborn baby.

On Dec. 17, Cardi also took to X (formerly Twitter) to share similar thoughts. She tweeted, “Men are intimidated by women who make their own money because they’re not as easy to control.” She encouraged women to stay confident, writing, “Don’t let a man’s actions make you think less of yourself.”

This isn’t the first time Cardi has spoken out about Offset. In September, after filing for divorce for the second time, she addressed his accusations of infidelity, saying, “I’m too much of a boss b—h for you. And I’ve always been too good for you.”

With her strong words, Cardi continues to send a clear message about knowing your worth and staying confident in the face of criticism.
