For years, people suggested she start a podcast, but it wasn’t until recently that she felt ready. "This time, it felt right because our goal is to revisit the themes that the show brought up, that are still so relevant today," she explained.
Davis believes themes like sexual politics, friendship, and the show's famous question, "Can women have sex like men?" still resonate with today’s audience. She emphasized that the show was ahead of its time in discussing sensitive topics. Reflecting on the show’s beginnings, she recalled how the pilot addressed issues like ghosting, even before the term was coined.
Asked which Sex and the City character she relates to the most, Davis admitted she’s a "mix" of Charlotte and Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. While Charlotte was obsessed with marriage, Davis, who is more of a free spirit, couldn’t relate to that. "It’s hard to be objective," she said.
The podcast, which was filmed after the second season of And Just Like That wrapped, will premiere on January 13.
