Bravo Reboots Vanderpump Rules with New Cast for Season 12

Bravo is shaking things up for Vanderpump Rules as the network has announced a major cast overhaul for Season 12. While Lisa Vanderpump will return, she'll be joined by a fresh lineup of staffers from her West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. The reboot marks a return to the show's original focus, delving into the drama, feuds, and romances that unfold within Lisa’s establishments.

The decision to replace the core cast, including Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, and Lala Kent, was revealed to the stars by producers last night. While most of them reportedly weren’t shocked, it follows months of speculation after the show went on hiatus in April.

Despite the shakeup, these familiar faces aren't leaving Bravo entirely. Many will appear on other network projects, including Season 2 of The Valley, a spin-off featuring former VPR cast members. Scheana Shay, her husband Brock Davies, Lala Kent, and Tom Schwartz are among those set to make appearances.

Production for Season 12 began in September, initially with the intention of creating a new project featuring current SUR employees. However, Bravo ultimately decided to integrate this fresh cast into the flagship show. Fans of the original lineup won’t be left hanging, as a special retrospective episode will air ahead of the new season to honor the OG stars.
