Chrishell Stause Returns to Selling Sunset Despite Feud with Nicole Young

Chrishell Stause is back for season 9 of Selling Sunset, despite her earlier vow to quit if co-star Nicole Young remained on the cast. In September, Chrishell publicly declared she wouldn’t return if Nicole was involved. However, she later hinted she might reconsider if her paycheck saw a significant boost.

Sources reveal Chrishell and Nicole have both begun filming for the new season, but they haven’t shared any scenes yet. Nicole’s return was locked in before Chrishell’s ultimatum, leaving producers uninterested in choosing between the two. Faced with limited options, Chrishell softened her stance, realizing walking away might not be the best move.

The tension between the two dates back to Nicole’s season 6 debut, which sparked a feud involving a disputed past real estate listing. Things escalated further when Chrishell accused Nicole of drug use. Most recently, ahead of season 8’s premiere in September, Chrishell called Nicole a "snake" and claimed she spread a "disgusting lie" about their co-star, Emma Hernan, as revealed by Chelsea Lazkani.

While season 8 debuted on September 6, the off-screen drama is already fueling anticipation for season 9.
