To address the claims, MrBeast enlisted attorney Alex Spiro from the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan back in July. The investigation stemmed from sexual misconduct allegations, including accusations of pedophilia, grooming, and inappropriate behavior involving minors. Spiro’s team reviewed millions of documents and interviewed 39 current and former employees, ultimately concluding that the accusations were unfounded, with alleged victims also rejecting the claims.
The investigation was launched after Tyson was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a young fan when he was 13. The law firm’s deep dive included extensive reviews of communication across platforms like Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp, which showed no evidence of any inappropriate behavior or the employment of a registered sex offender in the company.
While no grooming or pedophilia evidence was found, Spiro reported isolated incidents of workplace misconduct. MrBeast’s company acted swiftly, reportedly disciplining and even dismissing certain staff members involved. As a fast-growing company, it sometimes lacked proper policies, Spiro noted, but is now taking steps to implement changes.
MrBeast’s company is already moving forward with these updates by hiring a new CEO and General Counsel, developing clear policies, and creating an employee handbook to strengthen workplace practices.
