Fan "Marries" Louis Tomlinson in Jakarta with Surprise Document

Millions of fans around the world would likely give anything for a chance to marry former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, but one fan recently managed to “tie the knot” with him—or so she claims.

During Tomlinson’s 'Faith In The Future' world tour earlier this year, he was meeting fans across the globe. It was in Jakarta that he crossed paths with TikToker '@ladycryalot', who later declared herself as his new “wife.” Little did Tomlinson know, this fan had come with a rather unexpected plan in mind.

In a TikTok video, '@ladycryalot' recounted her story, saying, “I went there as a single woman... but I got back from there as a married woman. I'm married to Louis Tomlinson. I’m his lawfully wedded wife.”

So, how did this unconventional “marriage” come about? Apparently, the fan handed Tomlinson a document to sign, which she claims was actually a marriage certificate complete with their images. Tomlinson did seem to catch on to the joke, asking, "What's this, some kind of declaration of marriage, is it?" Nevertheless, he signed it and even joked that he'd have to come back to Jakarta more often if his "wife" wished.

The fan explained that she hadn’t attended the meet-and-greet herself but had sent a friend, who later asked Tomlinson if he would return to Jakarta. His playful response? “If my wife wants to.”

While '@ladycryalot' has taken her “marital status” humorously, it’s worth noting that marriages in Indonesia require a formal ceremony to be legally recognized. So, fans of Louis Tomlinson still holding out hope—there’s no need to give up just yet!
