Jauregui, now 29, confirmed that she still keeps in touch with her former bandmates. "Yeah, I mean, I definitely still have a lot of love for the girls," she said. "The four of us talk here and there. Dinah actually had a show yesterday. I wasn’t able to make it as I landed too late, but she and Ally were out there last night." Despite the band's hiatus, Jauregui emphasized they’re all still connected.
When asked about the possibility of new Fifth Harmony music, Jauregui hinted at the potential for something “in the future” but clarified there are no current plans. "Maybe in the future at some point, but not right now," she said, adding, "I'm definitely focused on myself currently."
Fifth Harmony first made waves in 2012 after being formed by Simon Cowell on The X Factor’s second American season. Placing third in the competition, the group quickly climbed the charts with hits like "Worth It" and "Work From Home." Their discography includes the albums Reflection, 7/27, and Fifth Harmony.
In December 2016, Cabello, now 27, departed to pursue her solo career, while the group continued as a quartet until announcing a hiatus in March 2018. In their parting statement, the members expressed excitement to pursue solo endeavors and grow creatively, hoping to one day bring new experiences and insights back to the Fifth Harmony family. Since then, the band hasn’t released new music, with each member focusing on individual projects.
At the Femme It Forward Gala, hosted by Saweetie, other notable moments included Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante Broadus, receiving the Black Love Award and Andra Day presenting the My Sister’s Keeper Award to Chloe x Halle.
