Jesse James and Bonnie Rotten Accuse Each Other of Abuse Amid Divorce Battle

Jesse James and his estranged wife, Bonnie Rotten, are embroiled in a heated divorce, with both accusing each other of domestic abuse. James, who was previously married to Sandra Bullock, filed for a restraining order on Wednesday in response to Rotten's divorce petition. He is asking the court to keep her at least 100 feet away from him and their son until a custody hearing.

In his court documents, James claims that their marriage, which began in June 2022, was marred by multiple incidents of abuse. He alleges that several months before their wedding, Bonnie, whose real name is Alaina Hicks, attacked him and even tried to break his finger. James further claims that these incidents occurred repeatedly, including one where Bonnie allegedly poked a hole in his neck while pregnant with their son, Bishop. On another occasion, he says Bonnie kicked him, resulting in a broken wrist and dislocated thumb.

James also accuses his wife of abusing their pets, claiming their son has begun mimicking the violent behavior with the family’s animals.

In response, Bonnie has filed her own temporary restraining order against James. She alleges that he has been physical with her in the past, even slapping her once. Bonnie insists that she never kicked him when he broke his wrist but instead slammed a door that unintentionally caused the injury. She further claims that James punched her in the throat during another confrontation.

Bonnie believes that James' TRO is an attempt to paint her as the abuser, and she is confident that the truth will come out. She stated that she moved out with their son to protect them and expressed her desire to handle the matter privately, trusting the legal system to resolve the issue without media interference.

This is not the first time Bonnie has sought a divorce; she filed for divorce twice in 2022 but did not follow through.
