The Violent Night actor admitted to being highly critical of the show but praised the finale for its emotional depth. He recalled a powerful moment when the cast first read through the script, with many of the actors brought to tears. Harbour noted, “The last 20 minutes, it was just uncontrollably crying, waves of different people,” while playfully imitating Noah Schnapp’s reaction during the reading.
Reflecting on the long journey of the cast, Harbour pointed out that stars like Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Schnapp have practically grown up on the show. Brown, now 20, started playing Eleven when she was just 11, while Wolfhard, Matarazzo, McLaughlin, and Schnapp also joined the cast as young teens.
Although Netflix has yet to reveal the official plot, Harbour hinted that the upcoming season is beautifully crafted and will be a satisfying conclusion for fans. He expressed confidence in the storyline, saying, “It’s such a great episode, and it’s such a great season. You guys will love it.”
While the next season’s plot is still under wraps, it’s likely that the Hawkins kids will continue their battle against Vecna. In addition to Brown, Wolfhard, Matarazzo, McLaughlin, Schnapp, and Harbour, the final season is expected to feature returning cast members like Winona Ryder, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, and more. Fans are eagerly awaiting what could be one of the most emotional and action-packed seasons yet.
