Reflecting on her preparation, she confessed, “I was like, ‘I should have rehearsed more… like I needed three more weeks to rehearse this thing.’” But she pushed through, embracing the thrill of performing live despite her nerves. She described feeling shaky, especially during the first few shows, with her hands trembling as she played the piano in front of a massive crowd. Over time, however, she began to settle into her groove, gradually finding moments to relax and enjoy the stage.
Rodrigo also expressed her gratitude for the fans who showed up to support her, calling the experience “something I’ll remember forever.” Now, as a way to bring the tour to an even wider audience, Netflix will release the GUTS World Tour documentary, directed by James Merryman, on October 29. The documentary aims to capture the tour’s most iconic moments, allowing fans to relive the energy of Rodrigo’s performances.
“I am so glad we get to do it all over again!” Rodrigo shared, noting her excitement to reconnect with fans through the documentary. She extended her thanks to everyone who danced and sang along with her, calling those memories “worth reenacting” for her dedicated audience.
