Holding her three-week-old daughter, whom she welcomed with husband John Mulaney on September 14, Munn humorously admitted, “I know I’m doing this wrong.”

Munn shared that she had always wanted to use a baby wrap since her son Malcolm, now 2, was a baby but found it more challenging than expected. She even described the process as “more difficult than origami” and called out fellow moms who say it’s easy.

In her Instagram post, Munn praised moms who have mastered the skill as “queens” and said she had watched countless tutorials on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram but still struggled. The American Academy of Pediatrics offers guidance on baby carriers, advising parents to shop with their baby to ensure a proper fit and to follow safety tips like keeping the baby’s face clear for breathing. They also caution against using wraps or carriers for premature babies or those with respiratory issues.

Munn and Mulaney welcomed their daughter, Mei June, through a gestational surrogate last month. Munn shared the joyful news on Instagram with a sweet photo from the hospital, writing, “Mei June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon.”
