Erik and Lyle Menendez have openly criticized the Netflix series, with Erik calling it a "dishonest portrayal" of the events surrounding their crime. However, when speaking with Grossman in Santa Monica, California, she expressed surprise at their reaction. According to Grossman, the show presents the brothers as "total victims" and highlights their sympathetic side.
"The show has given them a lot of attention," she said. "You end up rooting for them. It almost makes you think their parents had it easy, even with their tragic end."
Grossman, known for her role as Pepper in "AHS," isn't alone in showing support for the Menendez brothers. Kim Kardashian, another collaborator with Ryan Murphy, visited the brothers in prison as public interest in their case continues to rise.
