In one of her videos, she accused Payne of using different phone numbers and even iCloud accounts to message her. "Ever since we broke up, he messages me, blows up my phone, always from different phone numbers," she shared. She went on to allege that Payne exploited the loyalty of his One Direction fanbase to cover up inappropriate actions.

Their relationship, which spanned three years and included multiple breaks, ended in May 2022. Henry, the daughter of high-profile attorney Thomas J. Henry, has since accused Payne of bullying her and her family. Her legal team, Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna, confirmed that the cease-and-desist letter came after concerning new information surfaced.

Liam Payne had been a global sensation as a member of One Direction from 2010 to 2015.
