Allen's comment came after a social media user criticized her OnlyFans account, suggesting her shift to the platform was “a step down.” In response, she shot back with confidence: “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
With her OnlyFans subscription priced at $10 a month, Allen’s foot photos bring in roughly $10,000 monthly. Comparatively, Spotify, one of the largest music platforms, yields modest payouts even for popular artists. According to available estimates, with around 851,623 daily Spotify streams as of mid-October, Allen could earn around $4,077 a day. However, these royalties are divided across various rights holders, leaving her with far less income than her OnlyFans side project.
Allen launched her OnlyFans account in July, after realizing her high ranking on WikiFeet—a website dedicated to rating celebrity feet. Encouraged by her nail technician, she saw potential in the niche market, noting, “Not no.” Her husband, Stranger Things star David Harbour, took the news in stride. Initially curious, he asked if the move was a kink for her. She assured him it wasn’t, though she admits there may be an element of empowerment she enjoys.
Despite the debate over her unconventional income stream, Allen’s savvy approach highlights the evolving landscape of income for artists in the digital age.
