In an interview with The Times, the actress and former dominatrix reflected on her brief romance with the rap star, saying she now regrets ever getting involved.

Fox revealed that she had hoped to keep things private, but the relationship quickly became public against her wishes. According to her, she felt like a pawn in the situation. In her memoir Down the Drain, she wrote about an artist who controlled aspects of her life during their time together—something she now confirms was a direct reference to Kanye.

Fox went on to share some surprising details, saying Kanye would pick out her outfits, offer to pay for a boob job, and even asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Reflecting on the experience, she admitted that dating Kanye put her in an extremely awkward position. "It was the most uncomfortable position in my life, and that’s saying a lot," she confessed. More importantly, she emphasized that she never wanted to be known simply as someone’s girlfriend.

Their whirlwind romance made headlines in late 2021 and early 2022, though it only lasted a few weeks. The couple did make some memorable appearances, including a leather-clad outing in Paris. However, Fox later revealed in her book that they spent much of their time together arguing.

Since her time with Kanye, Julia has come out as a lesbian, sharing the news via TikTok over the summer in a lighthearted post.
