Janice Combs Defends Son Diddy Amid Legal Troubles, Calls Allegations Unfair

Janice Combs, the mother of Sean "Diddy" Combs, has spoken out about her son's legal troubles, acknowledging that while Diddy may not have been entirely truthful about his past with Cassie, it doesn't make him guilty of all the charges he's facing. Speaking through her attorney, Natalie Figgers, Janice expressed her devastation over the allegations, saying Diddy is being judged based on a "narrative created out of lies."

She shared her deep pain over what she described as a "public lynching" of her son before he has the chance to defend himself in court. Addressing the hotel video that allegedly shows Diddy assaulting Cassie, Janice remarked that sometimes the truth and lies become so entangled that it's hard to separate them, especially when the truth is complex or unbelievable.

Janice also believes that Diddy's settlement with Cassie sparked the legal issues he now faces, which include serious charges like sex trafficking and racketeering. Despite the gravity of the situation, she remains steadfast in her belief that Diddy deserves his day in court and stressed that he is not the "monster" he's been portrayed as. She made it clear she will continue to support him as he heads into his next court appearance on October 9.
