The incident began around 6:47 a.m., according to TMZ. Police officers initially found Bryan asleep in the backseat of his car. Following a brief conversation, the officers allowed him to go, but shortly after, they pulled him over again when they spotted him driving. During the traffic stop, Bryan reportedly told the officers he had “too much” to drink the night before and wasn’t sure if he had “ever stopped” before getting into the car.
Dashcam footage allegedly captured Bryan mentioning that he was “running from California” because he dislikes the state. He also admitted to officers that his driver’s license was suspended due to previous DUI incidents, adding that he had faced similar arrests multiple times.
Earlier this year, Bryan was arrested in California in February for another suspected DUI and faced felony charges, including DUI and misdemeanor contempt of court. Released the same day on a $50,000 bail, he was scheduled for a court hearing on April 23.
This recent arrest adds to a series of legal issues for Bryan, whose troubles date back to 2020. That year, he was charged with several offenses, including felony strangulation, harassment, and assault, after allegedly strangling his girlfriend.
Bryan’s escalating legal problems continue to draw attention, as fans of the Home Improvement actor watch another chapter unfold in his tumultuous life.
