Cardi B Reveals She Was Pregnant During Major Surgery

Cardi B recently revealed she unknowingly underwent major surgery while pregnant. During an Instagram Live session on Sunday, the rapper shared that she had butt injections and fibrosis removed in January after getting clearance from two blood tests. However, in March, when she found out she was pregnant, her OBGYN delivered surprising news—Cardi was actually 17 to 18 weeks pregnant at the time of her surgery.

This revelation came as a shock to Cardi, as she believed she was only 7 to 8 weeks along, attributing the timing to Valentine's Day with Offset. Looking back, she realized she hadn’t had her period in February or March, but thought it was a side effect of the surgery. Eventually, she connected the dots and remembered the real moment happened on New Year's Eve.

Cardi admitted she was worried her baby might have complications due to the surgery, but luckily, her daughter was born healthy earlier this month. The happy arrival came shortly after Cardi announced her split from Offset. Divorce papers have confirmed that Offset is the father of Cardi's newest child, just as he is of their other two children, Kulture and Wave.
