Alec Baldwin and Maya Rudolph Deliver Hilarious Kamala Harris Interview Spoof on SNL

Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live with another memorable impression, this time as Fox News anchor Bret Baier. In the October 19 episode, Baldwin's Baier interviewed Kamala Harris, played by Maya Rudolph, in a spoof of their recent real-life interview.

The sketch highlighted their constant interruptions, with Baier asking Harris exaggerated questions, like how many “murderers” she let loose in the country. At one point, Harris tried to finish her sentence, only for Baier to joke that he couldn’t let her because he was too busy talking.

Rudolph’s Harris also poked fun at her past as a prosecutor, claiming that if she starred in Breaking Bad, the show would’ve ended in three episodes. The sketch continued with Baier accusing Harris of insulting Trump supporters, which she denied while dodging his provocative questions.

The humor escalated as Baier complimented Harris on looking “very sexy” when angry, a comment she humorously agreed with. The sketch wrapped up with Baier cutting off Harris repeatedly as she tried to explain why she deserved votes, until she finally delivered the signature line, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

Fans praised the performances of Baldwin and Rudolph, with the episode being a hit as part of SNL’s 50th season.
