Based on this understanding, the owner waived the usual rental fees. However, when the home was instead used for a full music video, the owner felt deceived and is now seeking over $35,000 in damages.

Cardi has denied the accusations, stating she paid $10,000 for 24-hour use of the home and additional fees to the realtor when they exceeded their time. She also claimed that the realtor tried to resolve the issue for months, but the homeowner is being unreasonable.

This legal battle adds to a challenging time for Cardi and Offset, who recently welcomed their third child amid ongoing divorce proceedings.
