Angelina Jolie and Daughter Vivienne Bond Over Matching Tattoos Inspired by Broadway's 'The Outsiders'
In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Angelina Jolie shared that she and her daughter got matching "Stay Gold" tattoos, a famous line from "The Outsiders" and a song title from the Broadway show.
Angelina mentioned that "The Outsiders," her first Broadway production and her daughter's first job, holds special meaning for both of them, and they wanted to celebrate the achievement with matching tattoos.
In case you're wondering, Jolie's tattoo is on her wrist, but she didn’t mention where Vivienne chose to place hers.
It's worth mentioning that Vivienne is 16, so she needed parental consent for the tattoo. Having her mom right there likely made that easy!
Vivienne played a key role in getting her mom involved with "The Outsiders." Jon Voight shared that Vivienne convinced Angelina to see the original production in San Diego, which eventually led to her becoming a producer. Angelina later won a Tony when the show was awarded.
Vivienne was part of the crew for the show and was credited in the Playbill as Vivienne Jolie, omitting the "Pitt" from her last name.
It's clear that Vivienne is feeling closer to her mom Angelina than to her dad Brad Pitt lately, and their bond seems stronger than ever!
